The investment approach and process for sukuk generally follows the same style as the Group, for both USD and local currency (e.g. MYR) sukuk.

Aberdeen’s sukuk universe is the investable universe approved by the Shariah adviser.

The Group has a large and established investment teams: over 130 investment professionals globally.

We have strong derivatives capability for both active and liability management. Thus, the company draws on its parent's extensive company research database which will be used in our management of sukuk products.

Any hedging requirements used will be in compliant with Shariah requirements.

Decision-making is made by specialists, within allocated risk budgets.
